We do not have a contract with your health insurer?

The health insurer would like to enter into contracts with dentists, but the vast majority of dentists (almost 80%) are not in favor of this. The influence of the health insurer is increasing, which is disadvantageous for the dentist and especially for the patient. The health insurer can decide which materials and/or methods the dentist may use to provide reimbursement to the insured. This absolutely does not benefit the quality of care, the insurer is not a healthcare provider and should not determine what is necessary for the patient. The insurer is often mainly concerned with costs and not so much with the best care and quality. It is even possible that the health insurer will determine where the patient can receive care, i.e. which dentist he or she can visit. As a patient, your freedom of choice is limited and that is why we have not entered into contracts with health insurers.

You can and may still declare your bills to your health insurer and they will determine (just as has been the case for decades) what amount you will be reimbursed.
